Job Summary:
Client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to join our team. This role involves managing the sales process from quoting and bidding to project completion, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying new business opportunities, understanding customer needs, and providing tailored solutions.Key Responsibilities:
- Quoting/Bidding: Prepare and present accurate and competitive quotes and bids for commercial and custom building projects. Ensure all proposals meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Identify New Business Opportunities: Actively seek out and identify new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, industry events, referrals, and online research.
- Project Management: Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all phases are executed according to plan. Maintain close communication with customers to ensure their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Solution Recommendations: Understand customer needs and challenges. Recommend appropriate products and solutions that meet their specific requirements and enhance their operations.
- Record Maintenance: Keep detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project progress. Utilize CRM software to track and manage leads, opportunities, and customer data.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the commercial and custom building industry.
- Strong understanding of quoting and bidding processes.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
