We have an immediate opening for an EDI Analyst at our Corporate office in Richmond, Virginia. This position will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and testing mapping solutions to maintain a positive business relationship with trading partners.

Employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operations excellence. As the successful candidate, you will work collaboratively with trading partners to ensure the continuous and accurate exchange of electronic business documents.

Your additional responsibilities as EDI Specialist will include:

  • Collaborate with trading partners to understand EDI and API integration requirements, facilitating joint planning and implementation projects with all stakeholders.
  • Analyze trading partner requirements to design and implement effective solutions using EDI mapping tools, API integrations, SAP software, and custom development as needed.
  • Support the daily exchange of EDI and API transactions with trading partners, ensuring uninterrupted data flow and business continuity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to EDI and API integrations by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and procedures for EDI and API processing workflows, ensuring clarity and operational consistency.

Skills/ Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related Business major
  • 3-4 years of experience working with EDI mapping and communications, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, SAP iDoc, and XML Development
  • 1 - 2 years of experience working with MuleSoft and APIs
  • Mapping experience in a manufacturing or retail environment
  • Understanding of computer communications, including FTP, AS1, AS2, and network file sharing

Education

-Bachelors or better in Information Technology.

Experience

Required:

3-4 years: XML Development
3-4 years: SAP iDoc
1-2 years: MuleSoft
3-4 years: EDI mapping and communications

Preferred

3-4 years: IBM Sterling B2B integrator
