Contract Sr. MuleSoft Architect
Location: Remote or Hybrid (El Segundo, CA)
Experience: 4+ years

Duration: 6 month Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Sr. MuleSoft Developer with 4+ years of experience to join our team. This role involves developing and maintaining MuleSoft-based integrations, focusing on REST-based, SOAP-based, and messaging-based integrations. You will work with APIs, microservices, and integrate systems in cloud-based environments, specifically leveraging MuleSoft 4.x.

Must have experience architecting MuleSoft system and integrations for reusability and scalability.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and write functional and technical specifications for integrations.
  • Gather business requirements and convert them into detailed specification documents.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain RESTful, SOAP, and messaging-based integrations using MuleSoft.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with backend systems and services.
  • Work within the MuleSoft 4.x platform, ensuring adherence to integration best practices.
  • Use tools like SOAPUI and Postman for testing integrations.
  • Communicate technical details clearly to stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Support full SDLC for MuleSoft-based integration solutions, from development through testing and deployment.
  • Participate in the configuration and deployment of integration solutions in cloud environments.

Required Skills:
  • 4+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in MuleSoft development, including at least 2 years on MuleSoft 4.x platform.
  • MuleSoft certification is required.
  • Extensive experience in developing RESTful APIs, SOAP-based web services, and messaging integrations.
  • Strong understanding of API design, development, and microservices.
  • Proficiency with testing tools such as SOAPUI and Postman.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.

Bonus Points:
  • Experience working with FedRAMP-compliant organizations.
  • Background in large enterprise companies, especially in manufacturing, aerospace, or supply chain industries.
