Position Purpose: The ERP System Solution Manager is responsible for bridging business objectives with technical capabilities and ensuring seamless delivery and optimization of NetSuite along with integrated systems. He/She drives cross-functional collaboration, continuous improvement, and robust governance, of client's systems and processes. They enable the organization to maximize technology for sustained growth and efficiency. This resource will be the NetSuite Administrator, in addition to managing systemic project requests across all client's ERP integrations including NetSuite, Shopify, Avalara and Envoy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following is a list of essential duties and responsibilities; other duties may be assigned as required.
The ERP Systems Solution Manager is responsible for leading the design, development, and management of enterprise technology solutions that enhance business processes, improve operational efficiency, and drive innovation. Working alongside our NetSuite partners and consultants, this role ensures that technical solutions meet organizational requirements and align with business goals.
  • Solution Design & Implementation :
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within client's ERP NetSuite platform.
    • Customize and configure NetSuite modules.
    • Implement automated solutions with the help of consultants via native NetSuite functionality, Customer Records, Workflows, and Scripts
    • Effectively communicate project goals and criteria to outside developers for Script and Workflow implementation as needed.
    • Design and implement integrated systems that improve business processes and performance.
    • Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
    • Oversee the selection, installation, testing, and configuration of software and hardware solutions.
  • Project Management :
    • Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring on time delivery and alignment with business objectives.
    • Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
    • Mitigate risks and troubleshoot issues during the project lifecycle.
    • Communicate project status and escalate issues as necessary to senior management.

  • Stakeholder Communication :
    • Function as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clear communication of project goals and requirements.
    • Gather and document business needs, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and offer ongoing support post-implementation.
    • Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and tools to encourage continuous knowledge sharing within NetSuite and its integrations, including new user onboarding and user/role management.
    • Create role and management level dashboards to that communication data efficiently within NetSuite.
    • Manage day-to-day operations of the NetSuite ERP system, including user administration, role management, data maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • System Optimization & Maintenance :
    • Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement or optimization including use of Application Performance Management (APM).
    • Work with business owners and NetSuite consultants to troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing systems.
    • Regularly update systems to ensure they remain aligned with evolving business requirements and industry best practices including testing and implementation of NetSuite's bi-annual upgrades and management of SuiteApp/Bundle upgrades throughout the year.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management :
    • Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors providing software solutions.
    • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors.
    • Manage external consultants or development teams when necessary to support system projects.
  • Compliance & Security :
    • Ensure that all systems comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards for data security and privacy.
    • Stay informed about the latest technological trends and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to system improvements.
  • Documentation & Reporting :
    • Build comprehensive Saved Searches and Reports to transmit actionable data for leadership teams and departments.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation on system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides including user guides and training materials.
    • Produce regular reports on system performance, issues, and project progress for management review.



Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of NetSuite functional experience
  • 3-5 years of Shopify experience
  • ERP and technical partnership (Centium, NetGain, OpenText, Avalara) experience
  • Knowledgeable in EDI
  • Leadership and Project Management experience
  • Business Systems analysis experience
  • Process creation and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and manage competing priorities
