The IT Support Technician offers expert technical support and guidance to staff facing electronic or software issues. With a deep understanding of computer systems, networks, and applications, the technician provides assistance through phone, in-person, email, or chat.

- Resolve hardware/software issues and enhance end-user workflow through application development.
- Manage and distribute CAD data for program participants and facilitate data exchange between engineers and clients.
- Assess and deploy necessary hardware/software to boost workplace productivity.
- Offer comprehensive desktop support, including maintenance, repair, and problem-solving.
- Deliver multi-channel user support, including in-person, phone, and online assistance.
- Set up workstations and software, ensuring network connectivity and initial user training.
- Automate user processes with custom programs and oversee the FTP site.
- Standardize file conversion to a universal format for accessibility.
- Follow all safety guidelines, protocols, and policies while maintaining a clean, organized working area.
- Follow ERP work instructions.
- 3+ years of IT support experience
- Technical skills such as server implementation, wireless routers, printers, software, applications, and other commonly used hardware.
- Experience with Windows Server and supporting Microsoft Applications
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and read and comprehend simple and complex instructions.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to effectively present information.
- Efficient time management skills through appropriate prioritization of tasks.
- Successful track record in adapting to changing circumstances.
