DevOps Engineer Consultant

Responsibilities

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and processes for deploying and operating web applications in Azure

• Define and lead the adoption of DevOps practices in the team.

• Manage the application infrastructure in Azure and Kubernetes

• Contribute to the success of a high-functioning agile development team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a DevOps engineering, software development or similar roles.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Experienced creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Gitlab CI, or Jenkins

• Experienced using infrastructure management languages such as Ansible, Terraform, or Bicep/ARM templates

• Experienced configuring, deploying, and operating microservice-based cloud applications using Kubernetes in Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Experience working in an agile environment and understanding of agile methodologies.

• Experience with agile project tracking tools such as JIRA.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hold relevant cloud certifications in Azure or AWS

• Some experience with software development in Python, Java, or another major programming language
