Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer with expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience supporting the AEM platform. Certifications are a nice to have, not a must!
Major Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AEM solutions.
  • Support a complex web ecosystem with multiple dependencies, ensuring robust performance, scalability, and security.
  • Cloud integration and management: Work with public cloud solutions, with a preference for Azure, to optimize the hosting and performance of AEM applications.
  • Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service.
  • Technical leadership: Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and promote best practices within the team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content authors, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality web experiences.
  • Continuous improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in AEM and cloud technologies, and incorporate them into the development process.
  • Architecture: Help ensure that the platform architecture leverages the strength of the AEM product and empowers users to drive value from the site.
Required Skills & Personal Qualifications
  • Experience: More than 5 years of hands-on experience supporting the Adobe Experience Manager platform and more than 10 years of total professional IT experience.
  • Large-scale website support: Proven experience in managing and supporting a large-scale website with multiple dependencies.
  • Cloud expertise: Experience working with public cloud solutions, Azure and the AEM as a Cloud Service offering.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in AEM development, including custom component development, templates, workflows, and integrating with other systems.
  • Problem-solving skills : Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced cloud knowledge: In-depth understanding of either Azure services and their integration with AEM or AEM as a Cloud Service.
  • Agile methodology: Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools.
  • Certification: Adobe Experience Manager Developer (Sites) certification.
