We're partnering with a well-established organization to bring on a Lead Web Content Engineer who will play a key role in shaping technical solutions and working cross-functionally with software architects, product teams, and other tech stakeholders. This position focuses on driving scalable web applications and supporting strategic business needs with innovative, full-stack solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write efficient, maintainable code in a variety of development languages to enhance functionality and address bugs

  • Design and build software solutions and workflow processes aligned with modern development standards and best practices

  • Deliver work within defined project scope, timelines, and budgets

  • Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure quality and performance

  • Embrace and implement new technologies, tools, and development approaches as needed

  • Analyze and interpret technical impacts of business requirements and propose viable solutions

  • Work closely with peers to ensure system architecture and designs follow proper patterns and principles

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications that meet both user and system expectations

  • Produce and maintain detailed design and architecture documentation

  • Offer implementation support including deployment planning, rollback strategies, and migration efforts

  • Promote and adhere to industry-standard security protocols in all development efforts

  • Identify and resolve technical challenges early, minimizing risks and ensuring stability

  • Lead and participate in all phases of the SDLC, from requirements through delivery

  • Support Agile/Scrum processes to deliver iterative software improvements

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers on the team

  • Contribute to both legacy enterprise software architecture and the development of new systems using knowledge graphs, data pipelines, and API-driven platforms

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Hands-on SAAS experience with Optimizely is a must

  • 5+ years of full-stack software development with a track record of delivering complex solutions

  • 3+ years of team leadership or technical lead experience

  • Proficient in designing content/web architectures, working with APIs, SQL, JavaScript, and modern CSS

  • Deep experience in .NET development

  • Knowledge of continuous integration practices and infrastructure automation

  • Comfortable working with CMS concepts and template systems

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Solid testing experience (unit, automation, performance)

  • Familiarity with Git for version control

  • Expertise in front-end development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SPA frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular

  • Experience building RESTful or GraphQL APIs

  • Ability to understand complex business workflows and translate them into scalable tech solutions

  • Skilled in multitasking and problem-solving in fast-paced environments

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in Azure and/or AWS environments or relevant certifications

  • Previous experience with B2B/B2C Ecommerce and content management platforms
