- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT strategy and systems to drive business results.
- Manage and mentor a team of local IT Specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Report directly to the National Finance Manager and collaborate closely with business leaders to recommend and implement technology improvements.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT strategy and systems to drive business results.
- Manage and mentor a team of local IT Specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Report directly to the National Finance Manager and collaborate closely with business leaders to recommend and implement technology improvements.
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
- Oversee the security, risk management, and compliance of our Information Systems.
- Manage IT budgets, ensuring financial targets are met, and oversee vendor relationships including contract negotiations.
- Act as the primary IT owner for Canada, supporting all IT requirements.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, ideally in logistics or a similar industry.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a background in enterprise IT management.
- IT certifications (e.g., CCNA, PMP, MSCE, TIA A+) and experience with AI and Machine Learning are assets.
