HireEZ vs. SeekOut: What Hiring Teams Need to Know

Posted by on July 10, 2026

At EDI Staffing, building specialized technical teams is what we do, and AI might have a way of making this more efficient as long as we continue to value our human approach. So we met with executives from two AI recruiting platforms, HireEZ and SeekOut, to evaluate which tools could be most helpful. Both go a bit beyond LinkedIn to find passive candidates, but they’re built for fundamentally different problems.

Here’s a look at what makes them different:

HireEZ

HireEZ aggregates 750 million profiles from 45+ platforms — including LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and AngelList — and enriches your existing ATS data to surface candidates you may have already overlooked. Its agentic AI automates the workflow with minimal manual effort:

It reported about a 40% reduction in time-to-fill after moving primary sourcing to HireEZ. Think of it as a force multiplier for high-volume recruiting across mixed role types.

SeekOut

SeekOut indexes 1 billion profiles and stands out for technical and niche hiring. It surfaces candidates who simply don’t appear elsewhere by pulling from sources most tools ignore:

SeekOut is built less for volume and more for finding the needle-in-a-haystack candidate other tools can’t see.

LinkedIn RPS Plus

LinkedIn’s newest tool remains the dominant sourcing platform — with more than 90% of recruiters using it, and over 1.2 billion members in its database. Its key advantage is real-time profile data. Members maintain their own profiles, and LinkedIn reflects job changes as soon as they happen. Neither HireEZ nor SeekOut can fully match that freshness, since both rely on periodically scraped public data that can lag by weeks. LinkedIn also launched its new AI Hiring Assistant in late 2025 – reports are saying a 62% reduction in profile reviews needed and a 69% improvement in InMail acceptance rates in early results. RPS+ tier includes:

  • Includes access to LinkedIn’s entire member base, beyond 1st and 2nd-degree connections
  • Pooled InMail credits for direct outreach to candidates outside your network
  • AI-powered assistant that builds sourcing strategies, auto-drafts outreach, and screens applicants
  • ATS integrations so candidate evaluations and stage updates flow both ways
  • Team collaboration tools, including shared projects and Microsoft Teams integration

LinkedIn’s added benefits come with a cost. LinkedIn RPS+ is a premium, native platform license costing $6,000 to $10,000+ per seat annually. In contrast, HireEZ offers a lower-cost automated entry point at around $2,000 to $5,000+, and SeekOut charges comparable enterprise rates at about $6,000 to $10,000+ but prices based on the company using it and its data enrichment abilities.

Our Take

Depending on whether you need candidate nurturing, niche technical talent, or all-around support, each of these tools brings its own advantage. Ultimately, the real cost of these platforms isn’t just the subscription — it’s the time and expertise it takes to use and integrate the tools within your current team to get the full value of their tools. That’s the gap a staffing partner can help close.

At EDI Staffing, we already invest in tools and training to source specialized technical talent, so our clients get the benefit — without the costly contract or internal lift to manage them. Rather than picking one tool and hoping it fits every role, you get access to whichever approach the search actually calls for: speed and volume, deep technical sourcing, or both.
